What a CROCK!!  How presumptuous of him to say HE WILL DECIDE what the music of "OUR MOVEMENT" will be....grrrrrr.....

 I am SURE the artist kick a** Lisa  and are great Conservatives for sure,I want that clear I have no problems with any of them at all.

   I know this  Andrew Breitbart  was sold out by Glenn Beck --- I will NEVER  forget that!

Now he suddenly wants  to take charge of POP Culture  Breitbart baby,and make a sound track?

 MAKES me want to BARF!

Mr. Beck, we’ve been at this for two years.  And I do believe the consumers are the ones who will decide what “OUR” movement’s soundtrack will be.  We aren’t so presumptuous to think we are the ONLY ones who have skin in this game.

As an avid reader, listener and now  (with the advent of GBTV) a viewer of Glenn's, I can say that the music is a natural (forgive the use of the word) progression. The man has taken a impressive radio career, and expanded that to writing & puplishing books, a internet "TV" network, a magazine, clothing line and a charity. If that isn't taking on the culture, I don't know what is....On the link provided I didn't see any wording that would leave me to believe he was trying to steal "you guys" thunder.  Are we here to take over the culture and correct the course of the Country or are we here to argue who had the idea  first? The Left will always remain organized even if they don't like one another ...The Right tends to eat one another over petty things like who thought of it first (i.e. Tea Parties arguing over who is the "real" TP). I know there is bad blood between some in the Beck vs. Breitbart camps...But that won't help our mutual cause....

This isn't about who thought of it first.  It is about Beck stating "nobody has done anything about it...until now" that we found insulting when several of us have contacted him, spoken with him on his radio show directly, personally spoken with his assistants in his studio, handed him our business cards directly a few years back and his not so much as giving us at least a cursory nod, yet saying he is having trouble trying to find conservative artists who are not afraid to come out of the conservative closet.  His research team can uncover every detail about the Marxists/Communists, etc... but can't find conservative artists?

As we stated in our Breitbart piece, we are glad folks are finally recognizing the importance of music and the arts in changing our culture.   It's about time....this poser in the WH was bad news from day one....and many of us here have been doing what we can to spread the truth through a medium more people are apt to pay attention to...music, art, film, etc....especially those who don't watch Fox News or listen to conservative talk radio or read political blogs.

 I hear what your saying .... and I agree with you believe it or not for the most part 

I'm just not a  FAN of Mr Glenn Becks --  I am a faithful Breitbart Warrior

 I have no problems with anyone who  like Beck. Are you cool with Breitbart folks??

  It has nothing to do about thunder stealing  LOL .... we  was around LONG, LONG , before Beck was  even thinking  about music  so   that is not even a factor. 

  As an artist and TEA party activists  and strong support of this movement from day one Long before Mr Beck even gave the TEA party the time of day  

  This below bothers me Big time...

Every movement has a soundtrack, and we are proud to start introducing you to the artists that will make the music for ours.

 Those songs do not  reflect this movement at all...they are great songs, great artist DO  not misunderstand me  This is not meant to  dis them artist in ANYWAY at all. 

 IMO if  your going to claim  your making  a  CD  about a STRONG movement like  this  TEAParty  movment

 This BIG surge of Conservative /Libertarian   very passionate MIX 

 Songs for OUR movement  and  you listen to them Songs  20  years from now .....    you won't be able to tell what was going on at that moment in time...just by listening .... .they are just good songs on a a CD .

 

 If Beck  would say I'm gathering   some great artist I thing need to be heard .... that have an amazing message
 I would not have one thing to say.However  he is packaging it like they are Songs  that tell the story of OUR moment in time... OUR movement has a soundtrack now and he  has it...LOL 

 

 That means one of two things, that I can think of, unless I am missing something.

 He  has a separate Movement in store  and then that would be perfectly logical for his to say that.

Or he is trying to  make this movement into something its not.

I'm sorry but  I don't hear  anything about what is going on in this moment in time right now ...
In them tunes that will be on the CD so far.... maybe he is saving  those for last. Guess we shall see .

Hiya BigDawg...well I've been here for a few hours and drawn the notice of both co-founders...so I must be doing something right (....or wrong, IDK). I have no problem with Breitbart or his followers..heck I even link to his sites on my website ( another Ning site...I'd recognize

Ning anywhere :~))....The movement which Glenn speaks of is one to restore America, through honor, courage, and love, by being self-suffucient and helping our fellow men, relying on one another and our Faith to show us the way to Freedom from the overreaching Government tyranny that threatens all our Liberties. From what I've heard so far, the songs are spot on. I look forward to getting to know your community and hearing more of this "new culture".

Many have tried to make this movement into something it's not...... and it never freakin' works!!!! LOLOL 

I don't expect, even Beck can do that!!!  So says the Radical Grandma!
