Scott Wilke posted this on his FB wall tonight:

"Received the much dreaded news about my mom.She has stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized into her liver.I'm in a bit of depressed/angry and denial state of mind right now.To put it bluntly I think it f***ing sucks!!!!"

And Scott said she loves her horses and this is one of her pieces of art...it is clear where Scott gets his amazing talent:

I know many of us believe in the power of prayer and would ask that you lift Scott's mom up in prayer. 

Found this prayer on a site for Cancer patients...and am praying it for your mom, Scott...

Heavenly Father,

We pray for Scott's mom as she undergoes treatment for her cancer that the Lord will work out His perfect will in her situation and bring about healing.

We ask that The Great Physician will heal her as she undergoes surgery and radiation therapy and that the fire of God will destroy all the cancer cells.

We speak peace to her and ask the healing virtue of Our Lord God will flow through every vein, tissue, cell, ligament and that the healing will manifest.

We believe that God's desire is manifest in her life.  His desire is written in 3 John 2 "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along". 

We speak peace to Scott's family and for uncommon provisions to cater for all the expenses needed to take care of his mom.

We destroy every generational curses and declare that they will not continue but the blessings of God will overshadow her.

We are in agreement with God's word in Jeremiah 30:17 "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the LORD."
