I love this country, even though we've made mistakes
That lady stands for freedom and I'll defend her to my grave
There's a list of rules I live by, you all know where it's at
It don't take a law degree, to understand that

And there's a lot more people out here like me
In case you haven't heard, we're called the Tea Party

And if you think we were strong before you ain't seen nothin' yet
We're tired of your foolish games, these wars and this debt
You can bet your backside there's a storm on the way
You'll hear the thunder on election day

It's plain to see your broken, even worse than before
And you need to be reminded, of just who your working for

Each of us is here for our own reasons
From the future of our children to our religious freedom
