I guess I should never be surprised by any happenings here in Rhode Island . The Bill on the floor of the house on Smith hill  however just puzzles me. The incredible spending crew in Providence is debating on a law that would make it mandatory for anyone OWNING a Rifle  or Shotgun  to register such firearm and pay a $100  "fee"  for the right to do so.  The current Law  says that you must "register "  a Rifle or Shotgun  when buying it by a waiting period .  which I have little problem…

You  know  some things  just  never fail to amaze me .  Perhaps  though  it is my fault that I can continue to be amazed by the ( and pardon me for being so blunt )  common stupidity of the average American.  The person that put the Obama  12   sticker over the  08  sticker  ....      Still thinks that   ANYTHING  can be  given to us  by the Govt for FREE .   yeah    ,  now believe  me they are not bad people , just  ill informed  and brainwashed by the left media who drank the cool aid long…

 For the first time in many , many years  ,  I did not sit down & watch the State  of The Union Address.  I've always  thought it my patriotic duty  to do so . 

I contemplated for a while  last night  and then  decided to stay with the Military channel and enjoyed a documentary about the battle  at Leyte Gulf .  My blood pressure stayed very  level and I haveto admitt I slept well after.

So  it seems  from the Hill that  Israel will stand alone against the  growing  Islamic nuclear threat ....    Mr Obama  speaks a big game when it comes to Israel  but continues to shrink at his duty to  stick to our promises to our allies .  Wouldn't this be a great time for China to reclaim  Taiwan  ?   Or  what will  The WhiteHouse do if  Japan is attacked by North Korea ?     Stay tuned ....
