Debbie K grew up in dynamic musical family that played everything from Dixieland to Gospel. At the age of four she started singing with her family’s band and her talent became evident. Debbie has gone on to release 2 CDs and has been performing as a solo artist or with The Freedom Band.
Debbie K has been invited to sing at various events ranging from Chicago’s Celebrate State Street to the Sears Centre Arena. Debbie captured the crown of "Miss Chicago" in the "Miss America" scholarship pageant and then went on to be 1st runner-up for "Miss Illinois". She’s hosted the nationally syndicated music video show and was the "Entertainment Insider" for Chicago's radio station WONU 89.7fm. Debbie currently works in the media as a television producer for many of the top national TV shows. She also produces and directs live productions and special events as well.
Debbie is a conservative activist and has been involved in politics for over 10 years. Debbie and her husband Tim are leaders of a Tea Party group in the state of Illinois and members of various conservative organizations. Together they have 3 wonderful children.
Debbie K and the Freedom Band have been honored to perform at various political events and conservative rally’s that featured top speakers like:
- Col. Oliver North
- Glenn Beck
- Gov. Mike Huckabee
- Gov. Bobby Jindal
- Michelle Malkin
- Herman Cain
- Michael Medved
- and many other national figures.
Their music inspires fellow Americans to celebrate our great country and honors those that have fought for our freedoms. The Freedom Band consists of some excellent musicians and patriots.
On guitar and vocals are Jim Kozma, Glen Bernard and Jim Richards. Mike Bell and Bobby join in on drums. The Freedom Band’s contemporary patriotic signature song “See, Hear, Pray” video has been featured on Glenn Becks "8/28 Restoring Honor Rally" website and on the national "Support Our Troops" website.
