Echo Echo...Have you seen George Washington? George are you out there? Please say you are. Please get here quick...
People I fear we have really bad choices coming up in the days ahead...Again, I know some people are not going to like my opinion I am about to say but this is why I love our free speech and the ability to debate. Because I don't think we are doing enough of it in our conservaive circle. I still think we are taking our leads from our favorite media personalities or…

“I think your book is right. The desert is an ocean in which no oar is dipped. And on this ocean, the Bedouin go where they please and strike where they please. This is the way the Bedouin has always fought. You are famed throughout the world for fighting in this way and this is the way you should fight now.”- T.E. Lawrence to King Faisal in Faisal’s tent…from my favorite movie, Lawrence of Arabia.
The words above pierced the heart of the King, and…

We interrupt this broadcast….
Dear Friends & Family:
I have lived 58 years, traveled this country and many parts of the world. I have seen more than my share of BS Artists, and have had the privilege to know some of most wonderfully sincere and genuine people as well. As they say, it takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round.
I am sending you this message today because I have listened to an extraordinary individual who will be considered brash, harsh and VERY…

Leftists Want to Ban Believers From Office--But Who are the Real Fundamentalists?
Here is a deeply disturbing truth of our age—one American group, our most aggressive political ideology, is dangerously reactionary, exhibiting all the hallmarks of a fundamentalist movement. Is this the Conservatives? No. This group is, of course—modern…

You and I are politically well informed. But there are many Americans like my family who do not follow politics as closely as we do. Their political views are shaped by liberal media bias hit pieces, spin and sound bites.

Because in the school of the Spirit man learns wisdom through humility, knowledge by forgetting, how to speak by silence, how to live by dying. – Johannes Tauler
“Good morning.” he whispered softly to the early risers…time to rub the sleep out of our eyes and greet the day with heart and soul. Today, and every day should begin…from the…

I believe the lack of aesthetic standards in the arts is the cultural equivalent to moral relativism. Certainly, I am not painting every artist with this allegation of self-debasement, nor every gallery for perpetuating said atrocities. Unfortunately, however, it continues to be my experience that there's a lot of bad art in galleries, and sadly, just as much junk that doesn't even qualify as art taking up space and demeaning the value of good work. Consequently, I believe the general…

On the ride home from the office last week, I was radio station-hopping when I happened on the Mark Levin show just as Mark took a call from a Neurosurgeon who had just attended an industry conference of his peers. He enlightened Mark’s listeners about a consequence of Obamacare that was not yet public knowledge. Among other things, the attending physicians discussed the hypothetical case of a male patient age 70, referred to as a “Unit” in the law, admitted for a…

Honesty is the human quality of communicating and acting truthfully related to truth as a value. This includes listening, and any action in the human repertoire — as well as speaking.
Superficially, honesty means simply stating facts and views as best one truly believes them to be. It includes both honesty to others, and to oneself and about one's own motives and inner…

We all know that when Thanksgiving comes around, it’s time for turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and numerous other foods. But what does Thanksgiving really mean? I’ve heard many outrageous claims to what Thanksgiving is how it came about, none of them even being close to the truth. In 1610, the settlers of Jamestown, Virginia celebrated a day of thanks for 3 days. They spent the days having a feast and thinking God for their safe passage to the New World. In 1621 at Plymouth Plantation, the…

Friend O’ Mine (You know who you are!)
Gratitude is literally one of the healthiest minds a person can have. It makes you wonder why we don’t have more of them. Could it be that it’s been taken over by the mind too busy wanting more to appreciate what it already has? Or could it be that it has simply forgotten what it has to be thankful for…or…
