New Round of Rocket Attacks Launched against Israel

Dear Andrew,

The Palestinian terrorists who control Gaza (the land Israel gave up in exchange for “peace”) have launched a new round of mortar and rocket attacks on Jewish cities in the southern part of Israel. Just yesterday, a rocket struck just feet away from a kindergarten in Ashkelon just as the students were arriving for classes. One young girl was injured in the attack. Aviva Fold, an official with the Ashkelon schools said, “The children were arriving at school this morning,… Continue

Are Boehner's emotions helpful or harmful? Let's end this discussion now.

Many have said it is harmful, however, I must respectfully disagree. To me it is harder for a person to show their true emotions than to "act tough". I do relate to Mr. Boehner's upbringing although my family had a more diffulcult challenge. I,too, was always chasing "The American Dream" and achieved it. It is hard to accept some of the Blessings the Good LORD has provided for my family and I without breaking down and cry. It is not a sign of my weakness but it is in true "amazement" to see… Continue

Our Daily Bread

December 14, 2010

by David H. Roper

A story is told about a family that went on a picnic by a lake. At one point, their 5-year-old son waded into the lake, stepped into deep water, and sank out of sight. None of the adults in the family knew how to swim, so they ran up and down the shore in panic while the child bobbed up and down and screamed for help. Just then, a man happened by who sized up the situation, leaped into the lake, and rescued the boy.… Continue

545 PEOPLE -- By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president…

1 Kings 2:1-4

In 1991 James Patterson and Peter Kim released The Day America Told the Truth, a study based on an extensive opinion survey which guaranteed the anonymity of its participants. And the truth was shocking! Let me give you a brief sampling of their findings: Only 13% of Americans see all Ten Commandments as binding and relevant; 91% lie regularly, both at work and in their homes; most American workers admit to goofing off… Continue

From Darkness to Light

Daily Devotional

By Greg Laurie

This week's topic: In Need Of A Savior

People have asked me for the one thing they could say to their unbelieving friends to make them become Christians. They want to know the one truth that no one can resist. But I have no such truth—nor does anyone else. There is nothing I can say or you can say that will make a person believe.

To me, conversion is a mystery. I have seen it happen it many times, but I don't understand it. I… Continue
