When I first made my commitment to “stand” in the place God has put me, “engage” and question with boldness as Jefferson inspired us to do (I didn’t realize he meant with our clothes on!), I actually believed that we Americans here at home were doing so, well behind the real action…the front line, if you will. I was wrong. As it turns out, the real enemy is right here at home!

I would rather take a bullet between the eyes on patrol in Afghanistan than watch the bargain basement soul-surrendering sellouts of family and friends here in the homeland! It is well beyond heart-breaking to witness what can only be described as watching people you know and love run into the burning building. This is it! This is the Ground Zero, “New” Front Line of Western Civilization…right here and now!…and it is the absolute worst kind of brutality imaginable…in every sense of the word! Watching the people you love surrender their core values, rather than risk the discomfort of confrontation!

You see, on the Old Front there is honor, trust, cohesion, unified sense of purpose and a camaraderie that borders on familial. Here on the New Front there is denial, willful ignorance, betrayal, compromise of principle and moral cowardice. We have been strategically splayed and we don’t even know it has occurred…because we don’t want to know.

We know from history that the Germans went on not knowing as the cattle cars rattled by their homes with human fingers reaching and desperate eyes peering out at them. They continued not knowing while the smoke of unspeakable horror drifted over the same homes. The not knowing of today are even better at shielding their eyes and ears from the stories of domestically tasked drones, implementation of unconstitutional laws allowing the federal government to detain its citizens without due process and the stockpiling of over a BILLION rounds of ammunition…as they replace the old military leadership with a new leadership willing to give the order to fire on American civilians!

For now, the suicide bombings, IUD’s and real combat skirmishes are over there. But make no mistake…the most devastating assault on the American Flag is taking place right here! I want to give a shout out to my brothers and sisters who are serving in harm’s way over there. We’ve got you covered over here!

They may be bigger…but we are tougher! They may be powerful…but we are mighty! They may have more friends on Face Book…but we only need the One in Heaven! They may have more lawyers…but we only need one Constitution! They may have a smart black man in the White House…but we know a steaming pile of Bull S*** when we see one! Bring it on Homey!
